50th Wedding Anniversary Ketubah

Joseph and Chana Magun wrote the text in Hebrew and in English for their 50th wedding anniversary ketubah. Both fathers, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends and Chana's 3 brothers & 2 sisters were all annihilated during the Holocaust. Both were survivors and met the first Chanukah after the war. They include the names of their children, spouses and grandchildren in the text and include their relatives in Hebrew around the inside border.

In the border, the flowers include immortelles, roses, morning glories, and baby blue eyes. The inner border of white line on blue background with 4 white doves is from an 18th century Ketubah from Ancona, Italy.

They selected a poem by Pablo Neruda around the outside border: "I love you without knowing how, or when or from where, I love you simply without problems of pride. I love you in this way, because I don't know any other way of loving."
